I’m 52, still in perimenopause, and I’m fitter, stronger and leaner than I’ve ever been in my life.

At 48 it was a different story.

I’d always been slim, I swore by running and Yoga to stay fit and ‘toned’, I ate pretty healthily and when I gained any weight - I knew how to quickly get it off.

That was until perimenopause hit!

Suddenly, I gained 5 kilos & had fat on my belly that just wouldn’t budge!

I wasn’t sleeping well so running for longer felt too hard, and restricting my calories left me hungry and weak.

This experience sent me down a research rabbit hole that ultimately took me back to university to study strength & conditioning, nutrition and psychology.
